David Overfelt grew up attending hearings with his father Samuel in our state Capitol. David has been an administrator, spokesman and lobbyist for various industries since graduating from Mizzou in 1983 where he earned an engineering degree and also studied business & public administration. He has been instrumental in the passage and defeat of many legislative and administrative initiatives for his clients which have included Associated Industries , the Mo Retailers, and the Mo Grocers as well as many other key advocacy groups throughout the decades. David lobbied for the Missouri Tire Industry Association from 1990 to 2007 before he became the Executive Director of the MTIA in July of 2014.
